ZERO JOBS in August! Construction, Housing, Productivity & Confidence is DOWN! Video

My views about the government announcing ZERO job growth in August 2011, people on public assistance using Bridge Cards at restaurants, the Canadian economy contracting and more bad news for U.S. housing, consumer confidence and productivity.

Comments on "ZERO JOBS in August! Construction, Housing, Productivity & Confidence is DOWN!"

14.7trillion and ...
14.7trillion and counting. the debt ceiling will need renewing in 6months at this rate?

@DEMCAD Hey DEMCAD, ...
@DEMCAD Hey DEMCAD, maybe in light of the state of America we should rename some of the government offices. Like the department of treasury should be renamed The department of Austerity or Department of debt management. Department? of Homeland insecurity.

@8524frank I also ...
@8524frank I also got? a job in August, however if the same amount of people got layed as got hired then there is no growth.

If they can use the ...
If they can use the card to buy the crap at McDonalds, why not let them use their cards at strip clubs,? bars and the casino?

@Plum369 Yes, not ...
@Plum369 Yes, not EVERY single person on welfare should be eating at McD's for dinner. But.. its pretty sad when a McD's hamburger provides MORE nutritional content for less money? than what people can buy at a store. How about we dive into the subsidy the junk food industry gets from the big G?? Lets not discuss either the ENORMOUS amount of your tax dollars that go to JP Morgan Chase for many of those "benefits". Na.. lets just go after the easiest target... but maybe that is what they want

@Plum369 YES there ...
@Plum369 YES there are people who abuse the system. Duh... there are always people who are going to? abuse ANY system put into place. However, do not assume that every single person on welfare is a mooch. Stop thinking that all people on welfare never contributed or do not currently contribute to the tax system or society in general.

@Plum369 How about ...
@Plum369 How about those single parents, who from time to time may hit a rough patch in their life. Most single parents who ask for assistance do so because a single DEADBEAT doesn't contribute on a regular basis. If those? deadbeats contributed, a good amount of those single parents wouldn't need to ask for assistance.

@Plum369 Or.. how? ...
@Plum369 Or.. how? about that disabled person who tries to work as much as they can, but because of some issue or problem they can't consistently work. They pay taxes too. I know numerous people who have fantastic days, even a few weeks, but they also have a lot more bad days because of some type of problem. I have a son myself who has autism. To an outsider like you he looks "fine". He may never be totally independent. He may need some assistance when he gets older. BFD.

@Plum369 I ...
@Plum369 I volunteer at a senior center, I see daily what your mooching people look like. Typically elderly adults who busted their arse all their life. Are now on a fixed income and can't cope with the increases in everything. They ask for assistance, and receive maybe $100.00 a month to help them buy food. What about "THEIR" tax dollars, which they still pay? I guess now they don't? "count" because of your ENORMOUS contribution every year to the social services program.

I think that people ...
I think that people should have the opportunity to use their food stamp card at a food fast restaurant if they are homeless. Otherwise, everyone else should go to the supermarket and prepare their foods at home. I think that program would? be great. Its working here in California! I see it working for many of those that are homeless!

@Plum369 Did you ...
@Plum369 Did you not read what I wrote? They are spending it wisely relative to themselves. They are getting maximum calories for minimum price. When you eat, you want to feel satisfied. You are being elitist and irrational. Govt CAN be used for good things. Sometimes, regulation is necessary, so long as it benefits everyone. I fail to see how you could make the argument against making fast food healthier. It is just too weak of an argument. I do? not want no government, I want good government.

@sytunsyn you? mean ...
@sytunsyn you? mean it would be really inconvenient for someone to buy a loaf of whole wheat bread and a cooler of ice to keep their peanut butter and fresh veggies.

@KoalaBearWarrior ...
@KoalaBearWarrior Look, govt has no right to tell people who do not take govt assistance what they can buy with money they earned. But when govt takes money from people (which is where govt gets all it s money govt produces nothing) to give other people, I expect it to? be spent wisely. after all if im working to support me and someone else im gonna want the most for my money. I don't want to give money so people can afford their cell phone or beer and cigarettes.

@Anothercoilgun ...
@Anothercoilgun they wont go broke if they buy it with foodstamps, but I will be taxed more because they are "hungry" and don't get enough to eat. that's how? that works.

@sc00b3rt really? ...
@sc00b3rt really? welfare is not just food stamps. It's disability that I know people who work that system and milk it for life. personally know them. It's free medical care? to illegal aliens. It's subsidized housing for life. You ever seen the videos of people who have lived in the project their whole life and don't want to move, they thinnk they own the buildings. They don't. Allllll this other welfare that people don't think about because it is so pervasive.

I like the video, ...
I like the video, but I can regurgitate the news, why not share something that your not? reading from someone elses opinions.

@jesusislord614 ...
@jesusislord614 Some people do not have access to cooking/food handling. I think the intention was to? assist those without access to proper facilities to food. However, as usual the system gets taken advantage of and everyone starts eating at McD's. I really think they could have put a voucher system in place for that population who needs access to ready made foods, rather than opening up the entire food stamp system to fast food and restaurants.

@freemutant Hmm.. ...
@freemutant Hmm.. how about all those people who where working men and women, lost their jobs, and paid THEIR taxpayer dollars into the system ? I guess now that they hit a rough patch, they are just leeches of your contribution. Recipients of? welfare must perform 20 hours of work related activity (in addition to putting in job aps) to get their benefits. When you break down the "benefits" they get, most households are being paid less than $2.00 an hour of these work related activities.

@Plum369 Welfare ...
@Plum369 Welfare has? a time limit of 2 years, extendable under special circumstances (elderly, disabled, etc.).

I "think" in some ...
I "think" in some areas there are not easily accessible grocery stores, some of the people on foodstamps do not have permanent homes (thus no where to cook). Healthier foods are more expensive. If you read the suggested foods to purchase while on food stamps it is stated it is not a long term? option because it is not nutritionally supportive. Food stamps do not provide enough for "healthier eating" a $1 Burger from McD is cheaper than one made at home.

Inflation has hit ...
Inflation has hit hard on the job market and it's only going to get worst. People better do something now because the future doesn't look too bright if everyone sit back and do nothing. For people who think everything is a joke won't be laughing when the dying starts happening. The new world order really care less about you and they will kill you when they get the chance.? All I see is people that laughs and does all the name calling are complete cowards & they hide there cowardness behind it.

Just because? you ...
Just because? you get food stamps doesnt mean you have a place to prepare food....boarding homes, motels, shelters, tent cities...some of those people have legitimate cause to get prepared food with their cards

Bridge cards should ...
Bridge cards should be abolished in my opinion. All those who qualify for them should be given coupons for the iteams like they do (or use to anyway) for wic (women/infants/children program here in michigan). So they cant buy candy, pop, chips and other crap. They would be only offered healthy food and of course no resturants. I know and know of several people on assistance and? 9 out of 10 abuse the bridge card in way for or anouther. Its SHAMEFUL they way these people are (not everyone duh).

Yes I've seen ...
Yes I've seen people at expensive eatery using food stamp cards to order pizza and chicken wings, fries, coke , ice cream, chinese food, toco bell, subway, ? ect.

A guitar company? ...
A guitar company? WTF?? Does it ever end? What is a bridge card? I have never had any benefits so I don't know..

My goodness.....I ...
My goodness.....I think I love your? channel. Thanks for your work.

In Alberta, Canada. ...
In Alberta, Canada........ 20 year olds in the oil field make $100 K a? year

Hey Demcad, i ...
Hey Demcad, i understand your point about the fast food. I live in Philly and the poorest people eat at Mcdonalds the most. Some even 3 times a day. (If you could imagine). A lot of them don't know how to cook, or just don't have time. The poorer you are the harder you? work. It's not the most healthy option, but its the quickest for them. I think we don't need the govt to tell what they can buy, but rather make the govt make the fast food healthier, that way everyone can share in the benefits.

@DEMCAD Your're ...
@DEMCAD Your're doing a? GREAT job, DEMCAD. Keep up the good work. I love your videos.

@Kingnaira Yes, you ...
@Kingnaira Yes, you do watch tv. You need a lot of capital to start a business in most cases. You posted a comment? on a public video. These things happen. Which is another example of you failing to understand something. Good day, King.
